[Sponsored] Leaders Insolution Pore Clinic Care 2 Step Kit & Hydrogel Eye Therapy Patch
Hello guys,
Remember I blogged about Leaders Insolution event the other time and how their products were developed by a team of dermatologist [how reassuring!]

I have 2 new products from them and they are
1. Leaders Pore Clinic Care 2 Step Kit [SGD $15.90/box]

2. Leaders Hydrogel Eye Therapy Patch [SGD $15.90/box]

Let's do this one by one, yes?
I will start off with No. 1, the Leaders Pore Clinic Care 2 Step Kit.

There are 10 nose strips per box and a tube of pore tightening serum

I use it once every 2/3 days.
Basically, what you do is you first apply the nose strip on wet nose

This is how the strip should look on your nose

After about 10 minutes [when you can feel the pore strip dry and slightly harden], remove it and apply the pore tightening serum.

What happens in step 1 [nose strip] is that your black/white heads are removed from your nose.
Then at step 2, you tighten the now "empty/cleared" pores with the pore tightening serum to prevent dirt from filling the pore up quickly again.

Effectiveness of this against other pore strips I've tried: 9/10.
I can really see the blackheads on my nose becoming visibly lesser!
This was how the nose strip look before use:

This picture was taken before using the pore strip
^ I've used about 5 strips by the time I took this picture, therefore you can see my nose is quite free of blackheads.
I thought I won't be able to capture anything on the pore strip when used in that state but...
^ Still have some stuff to be pulled!

My nose looking red after pulling the strip off~

I still have about 2 strips left and lots of the serum! I will probably continue using the serum on my nose after I've finished the pore strips. I will definitely want to repurchase this product!

Now let's move on to the Leaders Hydrogel Eye Therapy patch.

There are 5 packs in each box, so far I've used 2 packs.

I am lazier when it comes to things like mask, much less can be said for eye products - I honestly do not use eye products, never used any eye mask before!

Therefore, this eye mask is my very first eye mask used and so I have nothing to compare it against.

But just look at the impressive ingredients:

That's right, dermatologist tested once again and own 2 international patents!

That being said, my rating for this will be 9/10.

I've been sleeping around 6-7am everyday for the last 2 weeks but I still can't seem to get terrible dark circles or eyebags for photo purposes... so I just took these the other day before using my 2nd pack.

Upon tearing the packet, this is how the mask are packed:

I'm not sure if I did it correctly but I tried to place it as close below my eyes as possible ^^

I really like how my eye area brighten up after using this and the puffiness is slightly reduced; even till the next morning, I can see significant improvement in the puffiness of my eye area [much less puffy]! I can't speak for dark circles since even though I'm forever in sleep debt, I never seem to get them.

I really can understand why Leaders is so well liked in Korea. [They have the best selling mask in Korea!]
The other day my friends came over my house and asked me about leaders and I realised I have nothing but praise for the products!

[Sponsored] Have fun in the water with Sunplay's new Watery Cool Sunblock!
My Number 1 fear - SUN!

Prepping myself before running into the water at the beach is a MUST!
I mean, it is certainly hard to stay away from water altogether when we are at the beach, yes?
Therefore, we need a sunblock that is water resistant!

I have just what you need!

Introducing the Sunplay Watery Cool SPF 65 PA+++! [35g/bottle, SGD $17.20]
^ kekeke, so adorable, the little penguins!

This formula is water resistant and suitable for use on both face and body.

Shake well before dispensing

My hands! [unedited]

Putting some sunblock on~ [unedited]

Ehh? Something is different...

There's a menthol smell to this!

It feels very good on my skin! While rubbing it, the cool sensation spreads all over my hands, 好き! The formulation is also very lightweight, don't feel sticky/tacky on my skin at all. [After rubbing the sunblock, unedited]

Now, I know what you lazybones are thinking - it will take me forever to rub that all over my body!

Fret not because there's a mist version!
Sunplay Watery Cool Mist SPF 75 PA+++ [150ml/bottle, SGD $17.90]

Read the instructions! Do NOT spray this directly on your face. If you want to use this on your face, spray it onto your hands and THEN spread that onto your face.

Similarly, shake well before use.

Ta-dah~ Just press and the mist comes out.

While the mist dispensed onto my skin is quite even from the bottle itself, I still like to rub the residue to ensure even coating on my skin *paranoid*

I really like the cooling sensation on my skin when I dispensed this!
Seriously, leave it to the Japanese to make our lives easier!

Are you thinking that these bottles look very familiar?

That's because I blogged about its "sibling", Sunplay Super Block SPF 130 PA+++ [35g/ bottle, SGD $17.20] & Sunplay UV Mist SPF 80 PA+++ [150ml/bottle, SGD $17.90] last year HERE and this year again for the Super Block HERE.

This Mist siblings!

& the Bottled siblings!

Now for all of you who love water sports and have been hoping to get a good sunblock, I definitely recommend these since they are water resistant and leave your skin feeling cool!

Now you have no excuses to hide in the shade; join your friends for some water sport fun!

[Event] Vanity Trove x Phillip Wain
HOLA

Last week I went for an event for Vanity Trove with TTJ at Phillip Wain (Novena)! [Thanks to Catherine for extending the invitation to us]

As usual, picture before entering~

Guess what? Vanity Trove actually has a "Tangs" July Trove!

It goes by the tagline: Destination Beautiful.

That was also the idea in which the event was planned around.
First, we registered at this counter and "Check in" on Facebook.

Our "passport" for the evening.

After checking in, we proceeded to the garden area where there were food for us.

The prawns were so fresh~

Not a Tofu lover so I didn't have any of this.

TTJ took this dish but not me~

I took A LOT of this because I was so hungry ^^ It was chicken!

This is something like the cake pop sold in Starbucks.

Gyaru make for the day; been so long.

After filling our tummies, we went on our journey - destination beautiful.
I apologise for the lack of photos because I was carrying way too many things and I was busy paying attention so I forgot all about snapping some shots!

Anyhow, at the end of the event, I managed to collect all 6 stamps!

With all 6 stamps, I can redeem a Lipo8 treatment from Phillip Wain worth SGD $580!

That was not all; We were each given a goodies' bag.

Contents inside were generous.

In the pouch:

Of course, not forgetting the Vanity Trove!

A really heavy box!

I really like the design of the box; it opens up like a drawer, very easy to recycle this box!

There are a ton of vouchers/ coupons!

Here's my version of the Tangs Edition Vanity Trove!

A closer look at all the products - There are SK-II, Calrins, Paul Smith, Jurlique, Suki Face, Laneige and more - for just SGD $30/box [Normal Trove cost SGD $25], what you get inside is way more than the price you paid for!

I really enjoyed myself during this event - it was very "free and easy" with friendly staff from Phillip Wain teaching and helping us in any questions we had. When I needed the restroom, a staff actually walked me all the way to the restroom, right in front of a cubicle! Service attitude - Two thumbs up!

I guess you can say I concluded my destination beautiful with a very pleasant journey there (:

[Sponsored] Megaholic Rubber Extension Mascara from FITS 「メガホリック ラバーエクステンション(マスカラ)」Review
Well I've been very into mascara these days, ain't I?
Maybe it's the lazy/natural make up thing.

Anyway, good for you because that means another mascara review and I have to say, I've been looking at this mascara for pretty long now.

Look at how cute the pamphlet is!

I was pretty intrigued by this partly because of the cute packaging; the female character with her insanely extended lashes.

Product shot:

Comb-styled wand
Before Mascara; Left Eye

After Mascara; Left Eye

Before Mascara; Right Eye

After Mascara; Right Eye

After Mascara; Side View

Let's go babes!

Megaholic Rubber Extension Mascara from FITS「メガホリック ラバーエクステンション(マスカラ)」:

Manufacturing Country : Japan

Product Weight : 5g

Product Ingredients: Water, Acrylates/Ethylhexyl Acrylate Copolymer, Beeswax, Ammonium Acrylates Copolymer, Butylene Glycol, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Glyceryl Hydrogenated Rosinate, Stearic Acide, Dimethicone, Pentylene Glycol, Glyceryl Stearate, Anminomethyl Propanol, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Amp Acrylates/Diacetoneacrylamide Copolymer, Alcohol, Xanthan Gum, Palmitic Acid, Nylon-12, Phenoxyethanol, Panthenol, Polysorbate 60, Tocopherol, Sodium Polyacrylate, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Acacia Senegal Gum, Cyamopsis Tetragonoloba (Guar) Gum, Iron Oxide

Packaging: 7/10 - It is really simple, does catch attention since the cap is bright yellow, much in contrast with the black body.

Ease of application: 7/10 - It is pretty easy to get the mascara onto my lashes with the comb wand.

Proneness to clumping : 6/10 - I do find it a little difficult to spread the lashes; I find the technique that works best for this formula is to apply it slowly and that will ease the clumping.

Lengthening: 8.5/10 - With just one coat, the lengthening is there but not as ideal. Good thing is, you can apply two or more coats to make the effect more prominent.

Volumiz-ing: 6/10 - Not a volumiz-ing mascara but there is still a very slight effect.

Curl Lasting Power: 8/10 - It held my curls for up to 7 hours; pretty neat.

Availability: 7.5/10 - It is available at BHG, Takashimaya B1, John Little Marina Square and SaSa.

Price: 6/10 - This mascara cost SGD $32.80; a tad bit pricey than normal counter mascaras but I always don't mind paying a little more for products made in Japan ^^

Repurchase: Maybe. I have quite a few mascaras right now so I haven't given purchasing mascaras much thought.

Overall Rating: 7.5/10

I didn't do a very good job in coating my lashes; these pictures were taken on my first attempt at trying this formula. After a few practises, I got better and
liked it a lot more! One of the reasons that brought the rating down was also due to the price; I do know girls who are not willing to fork out the money.

[Sponsored] Acnes Medicated Creamy Wash & Daily Facial Scrub Reviews
Hollaaaaaa!

I've done a review for Acnes Medicated Creamy Wash last year, this time I will be revisiting that experience...

As well as introduce a new wash; Acnes Daily Facial Scrub~

Without further ado, since I am way way wayyyyyyy too late for this review, here's my review!

Let's start off with the Mentholatum Acnes Medicated Creamy Wash:

Similar to my experience last year, I did not experience any bad reaction from using it and the period that I used this was when my skin was leaning towards the oilier side so I did not experience drying like the last time round. All in all, I feel that it cleanses my face well and leave my skin feeling clean and fresh!
Once again, I will give this wash a rating of 3.8/5 because it does what it says but did not particularly outperform my expectations.

Next, the Mentholatum Acnes Daily Facial Scrub:

I'm not sure if you can see it from the picture but there are little beads in the formula. The green beads are for deep cleansing while the blue beads are for the cooling menthol sensation. That being said, the cool sensation is really... refreshing! You get this tingling feeling on your face while the facial wash is still on your face and when you wash it off with the tap water, the face is hit with the menthol feeling you get when you pop a menthol sweet in your mouth.
Super duper fun to wash my face with this, thumbs up up up!
I will give it a  4/5 because it really impressed me!

Signing off here in a rush!

xoxo

[Sponsored] Palgantong Theatrical Powder in Original Beige Review
Hey girls,

Sorry for the MIA!
I'm going to dive straight in.
This is probably a brand that you've seen before and heard quite a bit about.

The parent company for this brand is dodo Japan and it's made in Korea, yay!

I received a 10g tub for this review, just a nice size for makeup pouches.

Make sure you check that your tub has this sticker~

See how fine the powder is~
Colour is about 95% true to picture.

Now let's get down to the ratings!

Palgantong Theatrical Powder in Original Beige:

Manufacturing Country : Japan

Product Weight :
 10g

Product Ingredients: Talc, Zinc Stearate, Methicon, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Iron Oxides, Allantoin, Calcium Silicate, Propylparaben, Butylparaben, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Isobutylparaben

Product type: Loose Powder

Scent: 0/10 - I don't smell anything.

Packaging: 8/10
 - I really like the size of the 10g tub (it comes in 25g tub too) as it is easily portable. Visual wise, I like red so I don't have any problem with that.

Coverage: 3.5/10
 - This is not meant to be for coverage so no surprise over here. Comes in 3 shades [Original Beige, Light Beige & Clear]

Texture: 9/10 - This is extremely fine and lightweight.

Blendability : 9/10 - Since it is very fine, it is able to blend and finish my look nicely.

Lasting Power: 7/10 - It lasted about 6~7 hours before most of it melted off.

Availability: 7.5/10   It is available at BHG, Takashimaya B1, John Little Marina Square and SaSa.

Price: 9/10 - At SGD $16.80 for a 10g tub, it certainly is very inexpensive and for the result it gives, I will say it is definitely worth it! [And it's made in Korea!]

Repurchase: Yes. It is really value for money and goes on well with my skin without causing any bad reaction.

Overall Rating: 8.5/10

I do know a lot of friends who have used it before and heard mostly good reviews so I'm glad I've finally gotten to try it!

xoxo
