It's been so long since I did a lash review, yes?Well, huge part of 2012 was given to being lazy and going ulzzang and guess what? I resolve to have a balance between both ulzzang and gyaru make up in 2013!
Therefore, I am going to bring you a brand new review to show my resolve.
Introducing Jewelove [known as Jewerich in Japan]
I was provided the Hoshino Kana Produced Jewelove [rebranded from Jewerich for export purposes] in P-3!
I had feedback last year on my lash reviews that instead of just showing my eyes, you guys prefer my whole face to see the overall look so...
I know I look quite stupid with the plaster but my wound is still healing so...
I am going to stick to using my usual visual easy rating for eyelashes because it's so much easier to understand! A close up on the lashes when worn before I go on.
Visual Easy Rating for Jewelove Hoshino Kana Produce P-3「 星野加奈プロデュース! ジュエリッチ アイラッシュ P-3」:
Volume (8/10) - The volume for this pair is pretty dense, might be because I am back to using lashes and therefore find it quite amazing again to see my lashes being so full. However, it does not make my eyes look heavily piled on.
Length (lash strands) [8/10] - It is pretty long but as you can see, it does not make my eyes look overly dramatic or fake.
Length (lash band) [8/10] - It is pretty long, extends well to the ends of my eyes, which I absolutely love as it gives a lengthening effect for my eyes visually. I find this length to be the perfect length for me.
Ease of Application [8.5/10] - After not using lashes for so long, I did not face any problems in application. In fact, I actually find it easier to apply compared to the earlier versions of Jewerich lashes that I have.
Comfort [8.5/10] - Compared to some of the Jewerich lashes that I've used, I do find this more comfortable.
Reusability [8.5/10] - The lash band feels really strudy, but not rigid. After 2 use, I still find the lash looking as good as brand new so I forsee it going a long way.
Availability [8/10] - Jewelove lashes can be found exclusively in Watsons and we all know how accessible Watsons is by now.
Price [7/10] - Compared to other Japanese eyelashes found in Singapore, I will say that SGD $22.90/ box of 2 pairs is not too steep a price to pay for lashes of this quality. However, I do understand the mindset of many girls [why pay so much if you can get more at the same price], which is why I lowered the rating for this aspect but personally, I always believe quality > quantity.
Repurchase - Maybe. Apart from the obvious reason that I have way too many pairs of eyelashes, there really isn't another reason why I will not repurchase it actually.
Overall Rating: 8/10
I hope this can inspire girls to try out more styles and mix and match things up yourself to showcase a unique style of yours instead of sticking to "safer" or "lazy" make up!
