I don't think I've reviewed Korean skin care products before?
I used to use bb cream a lot but I really don't think I did any review proper before.
Okay, that's not the point.
The point is, today I will be reviewing a Skincare line from the famous brand, Dr. G - The Super Aquasis Line.
This Line consist of 3 products:
Super Aquasis Moisture Toner
Super Aquasis Moisture Ample
Super Aquasis Moisture Gel Cream
These products were sent to me by SaSa SG~
I really adore how they send bloggers things, the packaging forever SO ADORABLE! Look at the teardrop shaped pouch!
You know... they sent me the products an autographed photo of Park Shin Hye! [Yes, really autographed by her, not those mass print type!]
Sasa Sg forever make me feel so loved by them!
Okay, back to the products.
So basically, this line aims to moisturise, as evident from the name itself.
The products are all Made In Korea.
Call me stereotype but I always feel happier when using products made in anywhere but ... you know where.
I have been using this line for about a week now and I am going to give you an overall review of the products in this line.
All in all:
I find that the products from this line gets absorbed fairly quick, even the Gel Cream which I thought will be harder to be absorbed by the skin due to its thick consistency. The Toner and Gel Cream has a scent which I can't make out but it is smells pretty common, I'm quite certain I have came across the same scent in some other skin care products before.
1. Dr. G Super Aquasis Moisture Toner
We all know that toner can help to remove any dirt that made pass the cleansing stage. I applied this onto my face with a cotton pad and I definitely could see that it turned slightly darker [not the very obvious white to black, probably a little greyish here and there]
2. Dr. G Super Aquasis Moisture Seed Ample
[Ingredients: Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate]
From the photo, we can see there are little emulsions inside the ample. I am not too sure what the emulsions are but I am assuming it has something to do with the Crystal Moisture Seed ingredient. I am assuming the nature of this is supposed to be a serum and it does get absorbed by my skin faster than the toner.
3. Dr. G Super Aquasis Moisture Gel Cream
[Ingredients: Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben]
Being in a gel form, the product spreads around the face very easily and a little goes a long way. I do fine this product very hydrating; my skin feels supple after using this before bed and stays that way till the next morning.
I'm sorry but I do not know the prices of these products.
However, Dr. G is a very well known and popular brand in Korea so I'm expecting the price to be slightly higher than your normal drugstore brands.
That being said, Dr. G is well known for a reason and I feel reassured using products from the brand.
Before I end this post, I want to share with you guys a piece of good news~
