Yep, I will be reviewing this product today!
Just look at how crazily adorable the packaging is!
I'm always sold by such packaging!
When I first received it, I was like...
Eh?
Luckily, there is English printed below!
So how does the story go?
I was enjoying my "high tea" as usual at some ulu place.
Being blissful~
As I was people-watching, I noticed this girl with outrageously good hair.
I'm like: "Oh? What is she having?"
But she caught me staring...
She gave me a wary look.
Maybe I should show her I mean no harm.
Together?
And she was like "Sure"
And I'm like "ZOMG, same!"
She's like "Ohkay."
The end.
Okay, you can punch me nao.
Hahahahha.
But I got your attention, right?!
So on to the product proper!
This is how the product comes like:
opening the cup up~
The cute thing about this is that you have to pour in the Latte Art Milk
Creamy Essence once you opened the product!
Reminded me of the MOS burger milk tea experience!
So here we go~
I believe the purpose of it is to help the product be stored/ remain the same
for the longest possible time after opening?
It has anti wrinkle & whitening properties!
It is really very very similar to the real "before you drink mos burger milk tea"
experience!
Tada~
Stir & Mix well!
Here we have it ^^
So what exactly does this "morning pack" do?
The first thing that caught my attention was "speed makeup booster effect."
How apt!
What we need in our "every second counts" morning!
so upon reading the label, I found out that this product is actually a primer!
A primer is something you use on your face before putting on proper makeup
(like foundation) to help them stay on your face longer (it's like an adhesive)
as well as look more flawless (as primers help to even out our skin)!
The only other primer I've ever tried on my face is the Makeup Forever HD
Primer. (Tried Smashbox & Two faced primers on my hand only.)
So comparing this with that, here's my take:
1. The smell! Tony Moly Latte Art Milk Tea Morning Pack smells a world better
than Makeupforever HD Primer.
2. Packaging. Obvious win by Tony Moly! It's just so adorable ^^
3. In terms of filling in pores/ even out skin, both does a great job. However...
4. Tony Moly Latte Art Milk Tea Morning Pack takes a much longer time to
be absorbed by the skin; about 2 - 3 minutes? Makeup Forever's HD Primer
gets absorbed like instantly.
5. A little bit of product goes a long way for primers. Comparing these 2,
lesser product needs to be used for the face for Tony Moly due to the
product's runnier texture as compared to Makeup Forever's HD Primer.
6. Economical wise, definitely Tony Moly wins hands down! Priced at only
$32.90, it can be found in all Tony Moly outlets in Singapore! (E.g. Marina, Bugis)
Overall, I'm quite impressed by Tony Moly because when I first tried the
texture (really very runny), I thought that it will probably not work to even out
my skin but it did! Also, this didn't cause any problem for my skin either! And
for the price, it is really worth a try (:
