Now a word of warning: there are quite a few mask reviews coming up.
You can't complain though, I checked my archives and it has been months since my last mask review!
So I am going to start off with a brand relatively new, at least to me.
TheSampleStore sent me a bunch of mask from KilaDoll [Courtesy to Beaute Inn Pte Ltd]!
I received 4 different types of mask.
1. Diamond Platinum Mask [Anti Aging]
2. Hyaluronic Acid Mask [Moisturizing & Brightening]
3. Tranexamic Acid Whitening Mask [Whitening]
4. Rose Moisturizing Mask [Moisturizing & Brightening]
I mean, you can tell pretty much what each type of mask does from their names. You know what I really like about these mask?
It's... the packaging!
So adorable~ [Of course, efficiency wise too, review below]
But If I had to pick a favorite packaging,
It will be the pink one. So dainty, holding her dress!
That aside, of the 4 given to me, I only used 1 [I've been busy with exams,
doing mask is probably the last thing on my mind... and after exams, I've been busy with playing Diablo 3, kekeke]
I've used the Hyaluronic Acid one! Reason being, I was on some skin medication and it made my skin very dry and flaky on some areas so I needed all the moisture I can get!
Here's my verdict
Visual Easy Rating for Kila Doll Hyaluronic Acid Mask :
Product Weight: 25ml per piece, 10 pieces per pack
Product Ingredients: Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Milk Protein, Sodium PCA, Orchis Mascula Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Aloe Extract, Leonpodium Alphinum Extract, PEG-120 Jojoba Esters, 1-3 Butylene Glycol, Dipotassium Glycyrrhiazinate, D-Panthenol, Allantoin, Hydroxyetheyl Urea, Cucumber Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate, Xanthum Gum, Idopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Perfume, Water
Product Texture: Wood Pulp Fiber
Scent: 3/10 - There wasn't any prominent smell, nothing to be "uggh" about.
Packaging: 8.5/10 - It is just TOO adorable. The essence in the package is
abundant; do use them for your neck and hands [legs if there's still more left!]
Brightening: 7/10 - I do see brightening but not as significant as the effect I felt from the moisturizing counterpart. That being said, do not take my words the wrong way; brightening still rakes in a pretty decent 7/10, just that it did not perform on par with the moisturizing aspect.
Moisturizing : 9/10 - Yes, definitely. Right after the mask usage, I can feel
the skin on my face becoming more supple; from dry and flaky at areas to being supple, thumbs up!
Essence Absorbency : 8/10 - I do think that it performs quite well in this
aspect as I feel my skin getting more supple after the use of this mask and
my skin does stay "flake-free" for a good few hours [about 5?]
Availability: 9/10 - It is available in Watsons [the 4 type sponsored], more
types can be found in SaSa & BHG. I will say, it is super convenient to grab a
box to try! [There are a total of 9 types of mask from Kila Doll]
Price: 8.5/10 - It is retailing at SGD $13.90/box of 10 pieces, I will say it is quite inexpensive. Considering how well it worked for me too, I really think it's a steal!
Repurchase: Yes. Definitely joins my list of favorite normal mask!
Overall Rating: 8.75/10
There, first review after such a long hiatus.
