Hi guys~Firstly, this is a super delayed post!
Sorry to everyone for the delay ):
Also, you will not be seeing "before" and "after" photos like the past few
skincare reviews because I forgot to take pictures after I used it and then my
sudden crazy breakout occurred...
I don't think I want to gross people out with pictures of my face now ):
I have at least over 15 pimples all over my face now *hides in hole*
So yes, hope you will understand!
Should my skin improve, I will edit and add in proper pictures then let you guys
know in future! [Hopefully T.T]
Okay, now for the post proper~
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you have been reading my blog for a long time, you might remember this post
I did last year for Eucerin over
HERE.
This year, I got products from them again! *happy*
Best part, they are from the DermoPurifyer range which I really loved since I
did the review last year! [I am still using their cleanser now!]
However, instead of products towards cleansing, they sent me products
I like how they are all Non-comedogenic!
Introducing 3 New Products~
Firstly, we have the Dermo Purifyer Hydrating Care [SGD $25.90/50ml]
Jang jang~
Product shot:
My Verdict:
Dermo Purifyer Hydrating Care Review:
Product Weight : 50ml
Product Ingredients: Aqua, Glycerin, Tapioca Starch, Alcohol Denat., Cetearyl
Alcohol, Carnitine, Octyldodecanol, Dimethicone, Butylene Glycol, Glycyrrhiza
Inflata Root Extract, Decylene Glycol, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Stearoyl
Glutamate, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Phenoxyethanol
Product Type: Creme
Packaging: 7/10 - While it is in a pump bottle form which I like, I have to say
that it is slightly harder to pump and I do have to pump with care or else
I will dispense too much. I do give credit for its go at keeping the application
process sanitary. Another plus point is that the bottle is pretty small, making
it easy to dispense with just one hand holding & pumping the product.
Scent: 8/10 - Given that the packaging wrote "fragrance free", there was
still a strong whiff upon dispensing, not exactly very pleasant; alcohol smell
was pretty strong.
Rate of Absorption: 9/10 - Given the consistency of the product, I was quite
surprised that it took under 2 minutes to be fully absorbed by my skin!
Product Efficiency: 9/10 - I used it together with the other 2 products sent. As
I've said, I am currency having terrible breakouts. After just 1 day of use, my
breakouts look less irritated, redness going down; all while not compromising
the hydration of my skin. Love what it has done for me!
Texture: 8/10 - Very smooth and easy to work with.
Ease of Use: 9/10 - The consistency makes the product easy to handle and
I like how small the bottle is, very easy to hold and toss into your luggage.
Availability: 9.5/10 - It is available almost everywhere! Hospital pharmacies,
Watsons, Guardian, Unity, National Skin Centre and other leading pharmacies!
Price: 8/10 - I have to say, the price will definitely cause first time users to be
a little hesitant but for me who have used it before, definitely worth the money!
Repurchase: Yes. I do not actually have a product in my regime which serve
as a moisturizer ^^ I think this works that way quite well~
Overall Rating: 9/10
^I had to take points off for the scent!
Next, we have the Dermo Purifyer Active Night Care [SGD $25.90/ 50ml]
Packaging looks like the Creme Gel that I got last year~
Product Shot:
My Verdict:
Dermo Purifyer Active Night Care Review:
Product Weight : 50ml
Product Ingredients: Aqua, Cyclomethicone, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose
Distearate, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Sorbitan Stearate, Lactic Acid, Panthenol,
PEG-150 Distearate, Bisabolol, Serine, Glycine, Lecithin, Alanine, Xanthan Gum,
Trisodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Parfum, CI 77891
Product Type: Creme
Packaging: 9/10 - This is packaged in a tube form, which I really like too
besides the pump bottles as it gives me great control on the amount of
product I can dispense and very sanitary too. Tube is of a size suitable for my
hands.
Scent: 6.5/10 - There is a scent but pretty mild.
Rate of absorption: 9/10 - Despite being creme-type, it gets absorbed
surprisingly fast~ Under 2 minutes, probably near 1.5 minutes and it is all
absorbed.
Product Efficiency: 9/10 - I used it together with the other 2 products, and
together, they helped to soothe my current irritated skin condition. Super
love!
Texture: 8/10 - Smooth [obviously... it's CREME!], easy to work with.
Ease of Use: 9/10 - Can be handled with one hand and application process
is easy and sanitary.
I can see myself buying it, maybe not right after this tube
finishes [I have too many skincare products waiting to expire in my cupboard]
but definitely WILL revisit it when I cleared my stash a little [so I feel less
guilty about buy skincare product ^^;;]
Overall Rating: 9/10
Last but not least, the Dermo Purifyer Active Concentrate [SGD $29.90/30ml]
I had to remind myself to take extra care because of the glass packaging~
Clumsy girl here ^^;;
Product shot
My Verdict:
Dermo Purifyer Active Concentrate Review:
Product Weight : 30ml
Product Ingredients: Aqua, Cyclomethicone, Glycerin, Tapioca Starch,
Methylpropanediol, Lactic Acid, Decylene Glycol, Dimethiconol, Sodium Chloride,
Xanthan Gum, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Parfum
Product Type: Concentrate, fairly viscous.
Packaging: 8/10 - Pump bottle! compared to that of the Hydrating Care, this
is much easier to control. Took about 1.5 - 2 pumps to dispense enough
product for my whole face. However, I took points off as it is packaged in a
glass bottle. Clumsy girl here!
Scent: 6/10 - Very mild, I don't know how to describe the scent but since I've
used Eucerin products before, I'm not repelled by it.
Rate of Absorption: 9/10 - Everything got absorbed under 2 minutes, like the
other 2 products above! I was expecting a viscous concentrate to take longer
to absorb, seeing that it is labelled as a "concentrate" ^^;; Guess I was
visually tricked by the word eh.
Product Efficency: 9/10 - I have used this with the other 2 products and my
skin tamed down a lot. No new breakouts, just old ones being less irritated.
LOVE IT.
Texture: 7/10 - Looks thick from the bottle but it is actually quite flow-y,
just slightly viscous. I suggest to pump this onto your palm else it might drip
if you use the back of your hand.
Ease of Use: 7.5/10 - Due to it's nature, be careful not to drip it ^^;;
However, it is still very easy to use and apply.
Availability: 9.5/10 - It is available almost everywhere! Hospital pharmacies,
Watsons, Guardian, Unity, National Skin Centre and other leading pharmacies!
Price: 8.5/10 - I thought that this price for concentrate is really a good
bargain!
Repurchase: Yes. I don't usually use concentrate/ serums but this one is
super fast absorbing and not too pricey!
Overall Rating: 8.5/10
Did I redeem myself again~? ^^ That was review for 3 products in one post!
Forgive me for the MIA-ness please! :3
I'm working hard to get the momentum back, trust me!
xoxo
