Packaging: 9/10 - As usual, their packaging reflects their philosophy of being "Perfect x Simple" like any other under their umbrella; very straight to the point containing just all the information you will possibly need. Like the other lotion I've reviewed, the amount in the bottle can probably an equally long time as you only require 2-3 drops per application.
Scent: 0/10 - There is no scent at all.
Rate of Absorption: 9/10 - The lotion gets absorb in about a minute.
Product [Whitening & Brightening] Efficiency: 8.5/10 - After about 2 weeks of using this product, I noticed my skin looking more "alive" and, albeit slight, there was indeed whitening observed. Visible brightening, I must say.
Moisturizing Efficiency: 9/10 - Being Hada Labo, they never disappoint in this aspect! Their main focus in this product is not moisturizing but a combination of whitening, brightening and moisturizing and therefore, it loses slightly to the Hada Labo Hyaluronic Acid Lotion.
Texture: 8.5/10 - It is colourless liquid.
Ease of Use: 9/10 - The nozzle is small enough for the product to be dispensed one drop a time, which is perfect since you only need at most 3 drops for your whole face. Pour it onto the palm of your hand and just use your fourth finger to dab into the lotion and then onto your face; not that difficult if you ask me.
Availability: 9/10 - It is available at all Watsons islandwide.
Price: 10/10 - Yes, I can't imagine any score lower than this. At SGD $22.90/170ml [TBC], I can't tell you how much value for money you are getting for this product! It can last SO LONG and at such a economical price - not to mention the fact that it works well!
Repurchase: Yes. I always include Hada Labo in my skin care regime. Even when I try new products to review, I always go back to Hada Labo after some time because I feel so used to it! I've been looking to go back to whitening products [my derm advised me against it about over a year ago and I haven't been using whitening product since then] and will probably start with this once I finish my other skincare products [which will really take some time...]
Overall Rating: 8.75/10
Hurry up and grab yourself a bottle of Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Lotion!
Packaging: 9/10 - I think the packaging reflects their philosophy of being "Perfect x Simple" very well as it is really a no frills yet contain information you will need/ be interested in. The amount in the bottle might look like any other product in the market that can provide you for 3-6 months but my last bottle lasted me over a year because only 2-3 drops is needed each application!
Scent: 0/10 - There is no scent at all.
Rate of Absorption: 9/10 - The lotion gets absorb very quickly - in a minute or less.
Product Efficiency: 9/10 - This really gives my face instant hydration. Using it regularly, I don't experience much problems of my skin drying or looking too oily [if you keep your face hydrated properly, the oil secretion on your face gets controlled too because oil is secreted when your skin lacks moisture so as to make up for it.]
Moisturizing Efficiency: 9.5/10 - Absolute love. Ever since I started using this product back when it first launched in Singapore, I never looked back - 'nuff said.
Texture: 9/10 - It is colourless liquid, easy to handle.
Ease of Use: 9/10 - Extremely easy. The nozzle is small and dispense the product one drop at a time, which is very useful since each application only requires 2 - 3 drops for the whole face. [Please do not dispense a lot and slap a bunch onto your face because that will do more harm than good. Remember, more does not equate to good]
Availability: 8/10 - It is available at all Watsons islandwide.
Price: 10/10 - Yes, I'm giving it a perfect score. It cost SGD $26.90/170ml and it can last me over a year. That works out to be /month or /day. For a product so effective, I'm saying that this price is too good to be true!
Repurchase: Yes. I always include Hada Labo in my skin care regime. Even when I try new products to review, I always go back to Hada Labo after some time because I feel so used to it!
Overall Rating: 9.5/10
This has got to be the highest I've given a skin care product thus far.
Really my holy grail skin care product!
Now for the new Eye Cream~
Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturising Eye Cream Review:
Packaging: 9/10 - Once again, very simple and no frills packaging. I like the pump as it is very sanitary to dispense product in such way, unlike many creams out in the market that comes in a tub.
Scent: 0/10 - There is no scent at all.
Rate of Absorption: 8.75/10 - For an eye cream, it gets absorbed really quickly. Most eye cream take a longer time to absorb due to it's thicker texture but this cream is actually pretty light and thus, gets absorbed quicker.
Product Efficiency: 8/10 - Once again, I've mentioned before that I don't seem to get dark circles no matter how much sleep debt I incur so I cannot tell if this product helps in lightening dark circles as it claims to. As for fine lines, I don't have fine lines around my eyes yet so I can't tell either [Sorry T.T]. Only thing I can test for was the claim to reduce puffiness, which I did see a slight improvement after using it for about 5 days.
Moisturizing Efficiency: -/10 - I don't have wrinkles/ fine lines [at least not any that I can see] or dry skin around my eye area so I can't really vouch for this factor, sorry!
Texture: 9/10 - Though it is cream, it is extremely light! Very easy to handle.
Ease of Use: 8.75/10 - The pump is easy to control and the bottle is small enough to hold in one hand and pumping with the same hand.
Availability: 8/10 - It is available at all Watsons islandwide.
Price: 8.5/10 - I would have given it a higher rating if I could test all the claims it made but unfortunately, I guess my skin around my eyes is not a good test subject for this product. It cost SGD $21.90/15g and I do believe that it is fairly inexpensive.
Repurchase: Maybe. I still have quite a few eye products in my shelf and I am extremely lazy when it comes to applying eye care products so I will have to see how it goes...
