[Review] Diamond Beauty Cheek Color in Number 3, Honey Orange 「ダイアモンドビュティ チークカラー 03: ハニーオレンジ」
Yes, I'm grumbling at the start because I had to redo this WHOLE review PLUS
ingredient translations.

Diamond Blush in Number 3, Honey Orange
ダイアモンドビュティ チークカラー 03: ハニーオレンジ

See how pretty it is off pan!

This swatch was taken about a year ago?
The colour in the middle

Without further ado, let's jump in straight.

Diamond Beauty Cheek Color in Number 3, Honey Orange 「ダイアモンドビュティ チークカラー 03: ハニーオレンジ」

Product Weight : 6g

Product Ingredients: Talc, Mica, Iron Oxide,  Red 226, -Sorry I will re-translate
the ingredients again when I have time, currently busy with studying for my

Blush type: Shimmer

Packaging: 7/10 - I felt that Sho-bi could have done a better job at packaging.
Sure, the transparent packaing is really pretty but it is also tad bit heavier than
other brands and with just the word smacked across the top [well, there is a
little diamonte at the "I"], it is something many will over look.

Pigmentation: 9/10 - The color looks just like the photos; rich and pigmented.
I thought it might look a tad bit dark but when I brushed it over my cheeks,
but it came out look fabulous!

Texture: 8/10 - Smooth but slightly more fallout when brushed compared to
candy doll. I'm guessing it is not pressed as tightly? Not a biggie since I use
a blush brush anyway.

Blendability : 8.5/10 - It blends with my foundation easily, does not make me
look like there are 2 ovals of blush slapped on my cheeks. I can easily lighten
the colour by blending it out.

Lasting Power: 8/10 - I always wear this blush when I go clubbing [because
it suits my eye make-up best] and by the time I get home, I can still detect
colour on my cheeks. That is about 7 hours?

Availability: 2/10 - I bought it long ago, shipping it over myself from Japan.
I am not doing preorders for it as of now too so I really don't know where else
can you get it besides shipping it at an exorbitant price.

Price: 8/10 - I think I paid about $21 after shipping. Can't really remember
because I bought it so long ago!

Repurchase: Yes. It's so versatile, I use it at least once to twice a week!

Overall Rating: 8.5/10

I was very reluctant to do this review because I had actually translated
EVERY single ingredient from katakana and kanji to english... Painstakingly
typed them out only to get everything(including the review) deleted when I
published it due to unknown reason. Nonetheless... I really like this product
and it is one of my holy grail so I sat down and redid the whole thing.

Hope you guys like it!

No.4 - ゴールドジュエリー (ハイライト) [Gold Jewelry (Highlight)] Review

Bringing you another review, this time from Diamond Beauty, a highlighter!

No.4 - ゴールドジュエリー [Gold Jewelry]

When swatched on hand, 2nd one from the right.

Diamond Beauty No. 4 Gold Jewelry (Highlight)
「ダヤモンドビューティー ゴールドジュエリー (ハイライト」:

Product Weight :

Product Ingredients: Not stated

Highlight type: Shimmery

Packaging: 7/10 - Simple design, but I wish they had done a little more.
Compact, but kinda heavy compared to Candy Doll, less bulky compared to
Melliesh though.

Pigmentation: 8.5/10 - The color payoff is extremely good! The colour comes off
strong and prominent on my skin. Then again, it's a highlight so I suppose it is
supposed to be very obvious when applied.

Texture: 6.5/10 - It is not as smooth as other brands like Candy Doll or Melliesh,
I do experience some fall outs, thus I think the powder is not packed on pan as

Blendability : 8/10 - It blends nicely and does not have patches/ uneven
colour distribution on my cheeks. I'm not sure if the way I'm using my brush is
technique-ly correct, but it works well with whatever way I am doing now so it
might differ for you!

Lasting Power: 7/10 - It lasted for about 4.5 hours before I had to touch up
a little; definitely lasted longer than my blush!

Availability: 3.5/10 - It is not being sold in Singapore, and very little people are
bringing it in online/ spreeing for it too as it is not exactly the more popular choice
amongst local gyarus. I guess because there isn't much hype over the models
endorsing it [mizukitty is endorsing though <3] I do help to bring it in if my
spree-ers request for it because I first bought it to add to my "Model endorsed"
Japan cosmetics collection but after using, I really liked it and so I decided to
offer it as a spree item in my shop.

Price: 7.5/10 - Since we are talking about buying it online, price may differ
depending on currency exchange rate/ shipping fees/ handling fees incurred.
Also, since it is an item less seen/ mentioned, prices of shops who offer this
item tend to mark up the price on top of the already pricier tag as offered from
suppliers/ auctioners in Japan. Thus, expect to pay more [though it is supposingly
to be cheaper in Japan] but still, it is worth it! [4g!]
You can join my preorder when I open one HERE

Repurchase: Yes. Really love love love the effect it brings (:

Overall Rating: 7/10

There there, my first highlight review (: Hope you guys liked it!

Note: I have not used blush from other countries [my blush are all from Japan....
except for the 28 bulsh palette from Coastal Scents] so generally, it's a
comparison with other blushes from Japan for the scale. [Eg. Canmake,
Melliesh, Eyemazing Cosme, Diamond Beauty]

Hope that was helpful :3

Diamond Beauty - Diamond Blush Swatches

So these pictures are familiar.
BUT BUT BUT I've included swatches and proper names this time and a little personal thought/ first impression!

No. 1 - ドーリーピンーク [Dolly Pink ]

No. 2 - アプリコットピンク [Apricot Pink]

No. 3 - ハニーオレンジ [Honey Orange]

No.4 - ゴールドジュエリー [Gold Jewelry]

No. 5 - クリーミーパール [Creamy Pearl]

Swatches, No. 1 - No. 5 [L to R]

First impression:
Texture wise, I will say they lose to Candy Doll, Melliesh and eyemazing Cosmeline.
When I swatched with my fingers, the powder does become a little crumbly?
Need to work a little more to blend the blush.
Colour payoff wise, I had to use 2 - 3 swipes to get swatches of the above intensity.
But comparing the prices and amount in the pan, diamond blush is still a steal!
detailed review will come when I have time or tried them enough!
I really like how the colours are pretty special; candy doll, melliesh and eyemazing cosmeline offers pretty much the same colours.

Alright, next post will be up in a jifty!
